THE WATERCOLORS TRIO was founded in 1986 and actively performs throughout Northeast Ohio. Many selections in the group's repertoire are arranged by the members themselves.
JANET BECKER holds a D.M.A. from Northwestern University as well as degrees from the University of Akron and the Cleveland Institute of Music in Flute Performance. She has been an instructor at Malone College, and has performed with the Canton Symphony, the Youngstown Symphony, the Erie Philharmonic, and the Chicago Civic Orchestra.
LINDA NAGY JOHNSTON is a graduate of the Mannes College of Music and the State University of New York College at Potsdam. She has performed as Principal Second Violinist of both the Akron Symphony Orchestra and the Canton Symphony Orchestra, and has been a member of the Canton Symhony String Quartet. FRANCESCA INDORF received a Bachelor of Music degree in Harp Performance from Kent State University, and has been a member of the Canton Symphony. She has also performed with the Akron Symphony, the Youngstown Symphony, the Erie Philharmonic, the Wheeling Symphony, and Ohio Light Opera.
